While we are happy that summer has arrived this summer we are sad to report that Sebascodegan Artists Summer Gallery does not have a place to display our work.
Late August 16th through 23 you can find several of us displaying work at Cenntennial Hall Harpswell Maine, https://www.facebook.com/pg/CentennialHallHarpswellMe/posts/ Hope to see you there! Elaine Here we are February 2019 I had been busy painting oils earlier in the winter before the holidays... As many of you already know I am one of the artists along with 19 others who own Sebascodegan Artists Gallery in Harpswell Maine. Unfortunately this year the owners grandchildren have taken over the property " Gun Point Church" and have other ideas for its future. Many of the artists had been showing here for several decades and many others including myself joined in recent years. We are currently looking for a new home with hopes to stay in Harpswell area but will consider other towns if the right venue becomes available to us. Please feel free to contact any of us artists if you are aware of a great spot! Sebascodegan Artists will be showing our work this winter @ Topsham Library from February 28 through March 26th - The Damriscotta River Grille March 13th through April 30th and "The Gallery" in Topsham Maine located just over the bridge on the left on Main Street.. During the months of March and April... PLEASE DO STOP IN TO VIEW OUR CREATIONS!!! We thank all of you for your years of support and we look forward to showing you our new gallery location this SUMMER!!! Wishing you ALL much Happiness and much Love I hope to see you soon! Elaine

From class with David Becker in Vermont this summerCan't believe it is the end of summer already.. I attended several workshops in Vt with my painting buddies Lauren and Nancy! Watercolor with David Becker and oils with Sean Dye... and oh what fun they were! Met several talented artists ! Spend a couple of days plein air painting on Shelburne Farms. Always a lovely treat to be able to spend quiet time relaxing and watching how the light changes the view every few moments. The exact same spot has thousands of different views within a day. We had a search party for a special tree on the property and with the gracious help of the Inn staff where directed to another lovely spot.. Same time next year girls so we can paint our tree ; 0 )
