This summer Judy Sgantas and I will be curating and participating in Sebascodegan Artists Show in Orrs Island at The Old School House with well over a dozen other artists. Our opening date is Thursday July 30th with our Artist Reception on Friday July 31 2026 from 5PM to 7PM! The show runs through to August 16th.... STOP ON BY!!!
Other than this one show and Bath City Hall I will only have pop up shows from time to time as I am looking forward to spending more time plein air painting this year.

April already and plein air days are here!!! Can't wait to get out for some pastel, oil W/C and acrylic painting and carving outdoors!!! It was a long winter even with a trip south to explore Savannah the Florida coast, spending a week with our kids, and watching Lennox enjoying meeting her princess friends at Disney. 
This year promises to be exciting with a workshop in June!! Several shows along our lovely coast of Maine (more info to come) and my all time favorite Summer Show in Harpswell with the very talented Maine Artists group Sebascodegan Artists at The Old School House starting July 31 through Aug 17th this summer with our reception Aug 1st 5-7PM An event not to be missed! 

Here we are it is December already! Not certain where the fall and start of winter went.. The theme of retirement!
I had a wonderful time attending the Ogunquit Plein Air event in Sept. My goal was to have fun painting and meet new artist friends and I must say it was a wonderful weekend overall! I so enjoyed meeting other artists and even was honored to receive a 1st place in the amateur division . That was a very big surprise as there were so very many wonderful creative artists. Looking forward to painting with some of the new groups as soon as we have warmer weather in 2025!
We took a trip to Wyoming to see the wild west in October and it was delightful!
I was able to paint a few plein air during the trip and will try some again from the reference photos soon.
Until then you can find my work locally at City Hall, Centre Street Artists Gallery Harpswell Town Hall and Mo Chara. I hope to have several pop ups in the spring ..

I will be participating in Pop Ups in various towns in Maine and end of June at The Honeycone Social in Yarmouth!
In August Sebascodegan Artists will have their show in The Old School House in Harpswell Maine August 1st through 18th with a RECEPTION on Friday August 2 between 5 and 7PM so Mark your calendars!!!
